Everything We Offer

Well-child visits are how we get to know your child over time — tracking growth and development, keeping immunizations current, and giving you a regular place to raise questions.

What happens at a visit

  • Height, weight and growth checked against your child’s own curve
  • A full physical exam, and vision and hearing checks as your child’s age calls for
  • Developmental and behavioral screening at the recommended ages
  • Screening for developmental delays and autism at every early-childhood well visit
  • Immunizations, when they are due
  • Time for your questions about feeding, sleep, school, screens and everything else

Our visit schedule

  • 3–5 days after birth
  • 1 week
  • 1 month
  • 2 months
  • 4 months
  • 6 months
  • 9 months
  • 1 year

  • Every year afterward

Your newborn’s first visits cover weight and feeding, jaundice, sleep and the questions that come with a new baby at home. We want you to leave each visit feeling more confident than when you arrived.

What we look at

  • Weight gain and feeding, whether breast, bottle or both
  • Jaundice and newborn screening follow-up
  • Sleep, safe sleep and what is normal in the first weeks
  • Circumcision for healthy newborn boys up to 2 weeks old, done in the office, with an optional meet-the-pediatrician visit first — call us to ask about it

Please add your baby to your insurance plan within 28 days of the birth.

Your baby’s first visit should be 3–5 days after leaving the hospital, or sooner if needed.

It is a chance to learn how the practice works and decide whether we are the right fit for your family.

The Meet the Pediatrician visit is free. Come to meet the staff and tour the office.

What you can ask about

  • How the practice works
  • Newborn visits, feeding and vaccines
  • What to do when your baby is sick
  • Insurance and paperwork before the birth

When your child is sick, you want an answer quickly. When your child is unwell, you want to be seen quickly.

Common reasons to come in

  • Fever, cough, cold and flu symptoms
  • Ear pain, sore throat and sinus problems
  • Vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pain
  • Rashes and anything that just does not seem right

If you think your child’s life is in danger, call 911.

Please call early in the morning if you can, or as soon as you can.

Children do not get sick on a schedule. When the office is closed, you can reach phone guidance so you know whether to wait until morning, come in, or seek emergency care.

When to call

  • A fever, cough or stomach illness that worsens in the evening
  • An injury where you are not sure how serious it is

If you think your child’s life is in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

When the office is closed, call our regular office number. You will be routed to our answering service, who will contact the doctor on call.

The teen years bring changes in body, mood and independence. We give teens a place to ask questions and take part in their own care.

What we help with

  • Yearly check-ups, school and sports physicals
  • Growth, puberty, skin, sleep and nutrition
  • Mood, stress, anxiety and school pressure
  • Healthy choices, including vaping, alcohol and relationships

Vaccines are one of the most effective ways to protect your child from serious illness. We are happy to talk through any questions you have about vaccines and the recommended childhood and adolescent schedule.

Good to know

  • All vaccines must be scheduled before you come in. We do not take walk-in vaccine appointments, and we do not hold flu clinics
  • Seasonal flu shots are available by appointment
  • We keep your child’s record up to date
  • Your child’s first immunization record (the blue card) is free; a replacement is $5

Please call to schedule your child’s vaccines before coming in.

Need a form signed for a team, a school or a camp? A sports or school physical is a chance to check on your child’s health and catch anything early.

What the visit includes

  • A physical exam
  • Questions about past injuries, family history and any symptoms during exercise
  • Advice on nutrition, hydration, sleep and staying injury-free
  • Please complete all the paperwork you need before the appointment, and bring it with you

Book as soon as you can: seasons vary and each has deadlines.

For children living with an ongoing condition, continuity matters. We manage asthma, allergies, eczema, ADHD and other chronic conditions alongside routine care.

Good to know

  • Appointments are limited, so call ahead
  • For established patients only, and your child must be vaccinated
  • Choose from our hypoallergenic, gold- and silver-plated earrings
