After-Hours Triage

Phone guidance when the office is closed, so you know what to do next.

A mother on the phone while her sick child sleeps on her lap

Children do not get sick on a schedule. When the office is closed, you can reach phone guidance so you know whether to wait until morning, come in, or seek emergency care.

When to call

  • A fever, cough or stomach illness that worsens in the evening
  • An injury where you are not sure how serious it is

If you think your child’s life is in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

When the office is closed, call our regular office number. You will be routed to our answering service, who will contact the doctor on call.
