Newborn Care
First visits, feeding, sleep and jaundice checks — and support for new parents.
Your newborn’s first visits cover weight and feeding, jaundice, sleep and the questions that come with a new baby at home. We want you to leave each visit feeling more confident than when you arrived.
What we look at
- Weight gain and feeding, whether breast, bottle or both
- Jaundice and newborn screening follow-up
- Sleep, safe sleep and what is normal in the first weeks
- Circumcision for healthy newborn boys up to 2 weeks old, done in the office, with an optional meet-the-pediatrician visit first — call us to ask about it
Please add your baby to your insurance plan within 28 days of the birth.
Your baby’s first visit should be 3–5 days after leaving the hospital, or sooner if needed.
Support from the very first visit

Jaundice & screening
Jaundice checks and follow-up on newborn screening, explained in plain language.
Support for you
Sleep, crying, recovery — the questions new parents have are part of the visit.
